Hi Family and Friends!
Well, I guess missions really do change you, but I never thought I'd see the changes this soon. Because when Mom asked me to send a Christmas list, the only thing I could think of that I really wanted was SOCKS. I know, right? What's happened to me?!?!? (The funny thing is Mom sent socks this past Friday and I was so excited that I cried. Now that's even more depressing.)
So I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know I did! We went to a huge family gathering of over 50 people, and we had a wonderful time. It was sweet to remind people the real meaning of Thanksgiving and ask people how they had felt God's love in their life (aka what you're grateful for). I can't wait to do the same thing with the Christmas season coming up.
I can see why this ward needed sisters- everyone we are working with right now is either a single mom or a widow. Our best investigator right now is a widow, and we left her a Book of Mormon and she had already been reading it! You would be amazed how little this actually happens. But she seems to be enjoying it so far, and we are so excited to teach her more.
That's all I have time for this week. I hope y'all have fun decorating the Christmas trees and listening to Christmas music! Luckily Georgia isn't too cold and we have a car, so I'll be so good. As I tell my mom, I'm happy, healthy, and loving the mission!
LOVE YOU ALL!
Love and faith,
Sister Laser
