Merry CHRISTmas!

Hello everyone, and merry Christmas!

This week was a pretty good week. We had lots of miracles, as always. Miracles happen every day if you look for them, especially at Christmas time!

This week, I just want to say how MEMBERS are so inspired. Both of my stories I'm going to share today are because of member's help. Not only did members refer us to these people, but they invited them to there events without us prodding them to do so! I know members are so inspired to know who of their friends are ready to receive the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to bless their lives.

First of all, we had a Festival of Nativities, where all types of nativities were displayed. It was the first time our ward/stake had attempted this event, and it had an AMAZING turnout. One of our recent converts brought her mother, and she enjoyed it so much that we are meeting with her tomorrow! Apparently a lot of people not from our church came as well, and they loved the live music and the reverence of this display. It was a great reminder of the reason for the season.

Secondly, we had a bunch of member referrals we needed to contact. We kept driving to their homes, praying, and then getting an answer to our prayers that we didn't want- NO. Talk about wasting precious miles! We finally got to one house where we prayed and got a YES. It was SO worth it, because literally all we did was say "Hi" and she wanted us to come back. She has lots of friends that are Mormon, and she LOVES them. She even came to her friend's sons baptism yesterday! She was so excited to meet with us again, and she has the perfect, cutest little family. I think it's meant to be!

I love you all SO much! I hope you are keeping warm wherever you are. It is cold here but not as bad as Idaho, or Utah (or even San Francisco in the summer for that matter!) and I have a nice warm cute coat. I'm just as happy as a clam.

I'm so excited to spend Christmas here. I'm so blessed to have 2 Christmases on my mission. I love the feeling we get from serving others and the joy that we get from representing Jesus Christ. His life is truly the best gift we will ever receive, because through Him we can be comforted in times of need, forgiven of our sins, and help us through this life. And He makes up the difference so that we can live with our Heavenly Father again if we simply follow His teachings. Gosh, the church is so true!!!!

Have a wonderful week! Merry Christmas!
