Happy 2015!!!

Hi Everyone!!!!

Happy New Year! This is how we celebrated the new year: I accidentally fell asleep before 10:30, and we set an alarm for midnight which I slept through. I was just so exhausted from 2014! Hahaha

This week was pretty stressful, we had a lot of meetings and a lot of appointments cancel on us. But I had a huge tender mercy. A while ago I talked about a family that we met that had 4 cats and 3 daughters, and we were able to get their uncle Karl and priesthood blessing for his brain surgery. It's been hard getting to meet them all as a family and teach them a sit down lesson, but we have been stopping by regularly and just checking in. We saw the mom, Paige, for the first time in a long time. She was home alone because she was having a migraine, but she let us in because we offered to pray with her. And she said something along the lines of the following to us:
"Thank you so much for everything you have done for our family. My girls absolutely adore you and they love it when you visit. We don't have any family out here, but we consider you like family. We know you would do absolutely anything for us.We have been going through a lot, and we know that you have been praying for us because we can feel it. Even though we don't know exactly what the Mormons believe, what you do speaks volumes about what you believe. You are welcome in our home any time."

I literally walked away crying. And now I'm crying again thinking about it. Great.

I'm excited to have a new year with the first part being the end of my mission. I hate having to think about going home! I mean, I miss y'all, and I miss Mom and Dad and I really really miss being able to fit into my jeans, but I'll never be the same after my mission. And I just have to figure out how I'll let my mission continually change me, and not just let it change me for now.

I love y'all! Have a great new year!!!!!
