Harold bore his testimony!

Hi Everyone!

Wow. Just wow. This was quite the week. I really don't even know where to start. 

Well, I have a new companion! Her name is Sister Mataele (ma-ta-el-lay) from Hawaii. She is 21 and went to BYU-Hawaii before her mission. She is very cool and only has 3 months left of her mission. Crazy! 

Vicky. She read the entire Bible in 2 weeks. Yes, you just read that. The entire, King James version, Old and New Testament, in just 2 weeks. HOLY COW! She said she had never been able to understand the King James version until she had read the Book of Mormon. She is just a sponge for information. I have never seen anyone read as voraciously as her! 

Harold. He went to the temple on Saturday for the first time to do baptisms for the dead. He had the best time! And the Spirit was so strong in our fast and testimony meeting that Harold got up and bore his testimony. I have never seen this man cry, but he was crying so hard he could barely speak. He choked out how the sisters came to his door, and he knew that his Redeemer lives. It was so precious, the Spirit was so strong, and I just burst into tears. One of the members of the ward that knows Harold well stood in the aisle and waited for Harold to come back to his seat and gave him the biggest bear hug. It was very touching. 

Jawan. He came to church yesterday, and he and his uncle Vance are on date for August 23rd to be baptized. Jawan is such a spiritual powerhouse, that he actually got up and taught half of the lesson in Sunday School. His knowledge and his testimony was INCREDIBLE. So much so that our Ward Mission Leader wanted to move UP his baptismal date. That NEVER happens!!! 

Terria and Aaryanna also went to the temple on Saturday, and they both loved it. They both said they felt theSpirit and were so happy there. It was so precious. 

Yeah. It was a whirlwind of a week in the best way. 

I love you all! And I challenge you to read the Bible in just 2 weeks! Just kidding! I don't think I could ever do that. Just shows how amazing Vicky is!
