Well, this week definitely had some unexpected turns to it. Like how we listened to our car make this squeaking noise and turns out there was a huge problem with our car that was a manufacturer defect. So ever since Saturday morning we have been hitchhikers and bikers. We decided that this one appointment wouldn't be that far away... but it had been about 5-6 miles there ONE WAY and we were so tired! So yeah, it was an interesting week.
But some pretty cool miracles happened. We saw Eydie again, and she told us that she has been praying about baptism and is really feeling excited for it. This is HUGE! Baptism was always something she told us she "would think about" but hasn't fully committed until now. We moved her date to November 1st just to make sure she would be really ready. I'm excited because that's my dad's birthday and I feel like that will be really special.
Also, this week we got to preview the Meet the Mormons movie on Tuesday! It was really touching and well done. I think my favorite part was the beginning, where they talk a lot about what people really think about Mormons and all the pop culture references. It was funny and so true! And then the end is a tear jerker for all moms and missionaries. But it was definitely a good movie and I would recommend it out for people to see.

One more quick story. Sister Stock and I have been really brave and have started knocking very large, intimidating houses. They seriously look like mansions and are sitting on tons of land. But it paid off because the NICEST, hardworking, genuine people have lived in the ones we have been brave enough to try so far. One of them is a couple named Sandra and Miles. They just moved here on Tuesday, and have been looking for a church. We taught them the Restoration and they loved it! They actually ASKED for a Book of Mormon. Who does that?!? And when we invited them to be baptized, the Miles was very hesitant. But then Sandra testified that if this really was Christ's church again on the earth, they would have no choice but to be a part of it! I love it when non-members testify. :)
I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! Have a great week!
Sister Laser
