Let Your Light So Shine

Hello Everyone!

Thank you so much for reading my emails. It means a lot to me that I can take a part in your day somehow, even from far away. :)

There were SO many miracles this week. But most of them happened when we were meeting people for the first time. I'll just have to share a couple.

I was on an exchange, and we had an appt at 6, but I wanted to go early to follow up with some potentials and tract. We followed up with Teresa, a lady that we met Saturday and she invited us right in. Her neighbor Kelly saw us go to her house, and decided to come over and visit with us too. Teresa said, "yeah, when I saw these girls on Saturday I told them I was busy but I wanted them to come back because they were so beautiful! Not just physical beauty, but they glow with the Light of God. How many were with you, 4 or 5?" I said "No ma'am, just 3 of us." And I thought OH MY HECK, we had ANGELS with us. How AMAZING is that?

Then Kelly said, "yeah, I felt like I needed to meet y'all because I felt something pull me to you. I know you have been sent to me because I have been having such a hard time. I just moved here and I'm having a lot of anxiety, and raising 3 kids. It's been so hard and I know you are an answer to prayer." Kelly ended up basically begging for a Book of Mormon. She is fantastic! Her daughter Kelani is 18 months old, and apparently is so shy, but she came right up to me. "Wow, she must recognize angels when she sees them." Wow, that was such an amazing compliment. I knew we were being led that day. It was awesome! We taught Kelly and Teresa the whole Restoration lesson and they were soaking it in. It was awesome!

We also met another lady that we had an amazing experience with. We had met Colleen before but hadn't been open to hearing from us, but she said, "you have always been so nice to me, and you always know just what to say. You have that glow about you. So yes, I want to meet with you soon."

In Helaman 5 it says that Nephi and Lehi's faces glowed with the light of Christ out of the darkness. I'm so glad that I get to be that light for others here in Georgia. It is INCREDIBLE. There is no place, or anything else that I would rather be doing, than be here on a mission. Wow. I know the Lord had a plan for me to be here in Georgia at this time. It is AMAZING.

I love you all, have a wonderful week! Look for ways you can be an example and let your light so shine this week. Let me know when miracles start happening to you. :)
