Greetings from the MTC!

Greetings everyone!

Wow, I can't believe it's already been a week! The first half of the week was really slow, just getting accustomed to the schedule and everything. But the second half has flown by.

I just would like to say I have learned more in one week than I every learned in my 17 years of education and work experience. Well, of things that really matter of course. It is so great to learn the gospel in such simple language. The gospel is really beautiful and simple, and it's a shame that we complicate it sometimes.

I've been learning a lot from the Spirit. It is so strong here! And it is so cool to feel it work through you when you teach lessons. Obviously the lessons here are acting, but sometimes I don't remember what I say when I teach. It's coming from someone other than me. It's so important to prepare so that you can feel ready to teach, but usually the lesson goes nothing like what we planned, its so cool!

I also felt the Spirit really strongly when I received the news that Lemonade (my cat of 15 years) died. When I read that line that she was put down and went peacefully, I still burst into tears but I felt so peaceful inside, stronger than I ever felt. It felt like the Savior was giving me a big hug and letting me know that that was meant to be.
